not again

okay okay I know what you're thinking! here we go again she has  not posted a blog in several days. so here is what's going on with me. I have had a really busy week between babysitting and my crafts. today we put our dog down of nine years. it was sad but I am doing better now. I think but help it was not going and petting him before he left. it definitely is strange not having him here. it is getting late here I know that this is short but I really really think I can start writing blogs every day again soon

The Vampire Diaries

this is starting to get weird. I really don't like how Elena is acting. I guess you could say that everything has changed since the beginning of the series, for me at least. I started out really liking Bonnie and not liking Caroline but now the roles have flipped. when they introduced Klaus I wasn't a fan but now I will say that I am. I really like how his his character has developed, I really like seening a softer side to him and I will add I really would like to finally see him and Caroline get closer. I have always been and still am Team Salvator. now what the heck is going on with Elena? is her story line doesn't start to change I don't know how much longer I can take this show. also this show is getting really bloody more so than it has been in the past. breaking necks ripping people's hearts out. when jeremy died I was crushed why did they have to do that? I will continue to watch this season and if it doesn't improve I don't know if I can continue.

This and That

Here is what is on my mind today. Green Tea Hoodia subliminal has been giving me so much energy and has helped me in staying fuller longer. I got mine from walmart 70 pills for $4.96. I didnt know if it would work but i wanted to give it a try. So far so good.
My favorite show is on tonight Chicago Fire I hope we find out tonight what Severides answer will be for Shay. I hope its going fo be yes.
The Voice is awsome I love Usher he fits right in with Blake and Adam I love it. I hope they girl that sang with michael jackson doesnt go far cause the show is ment for people dont have the opertunity like she does.
I love my Zumba Fitness 2 its the most fun I have had working out in a long time. Lol Dance Dance Dance.

Chicago Fire from 1 -18

So who's Team Casey or Team Severide or maybe both? All the characters have come so far in such little time. Take Casey for example he started out the season engaged to be married to a possible relationship with Dawson to his dead friends widow hitting on him. him not having a relationship with his sister because of his mom and now has a good relationship with Christy. Or how about Severide went from being a total douche and womanizer to having a good relationship with a woman only to let her leave him and now has to consider having a baby with Shay. (personally i want him to say yes.) I am not crazy about Dawson and Mills being in a relationship, I want Dawson and Casey to get together. I love the addition of the Pouch he is so cute. I can't wait until the new episode on Wednesday March 27th. also I am so glad that my cousin Jordan of my chaotic notebook and her husband finally got caught up so I can finally tell her things that have happened that I was so excited to tell her when they actually happened. enjoy the next episode everyone!!!

Get ready The Voice fans.  Tonights the night!!! Who's ready for season 4? I know I am been waiting for since season 3 ended.

Zumba

Wow!!! what a workout I just did Zumba for the first time. I didn't know if I would like it at first but now 2 of my favorite dances are we speak no americano and dance dance dance. what they say is true you don't know how long you've done it until you looked at a clock because it is so fun it's like you're not really working out. I hope this works for me. if you haven't tried it you should because this is one worth a try.

The Voice

Getting ready for season 4 of The Voice. with Blake having won the last 2 seasons, and Cee Lo and Christina leaving makes me believe that either Blake or Adam will win this season. this season with  Usher and Shakira joining Blake and Adam as the 4 coaches will be something new for fans of the show.. I am also ready for the bickering between Adam and Blake this season. last see you then was probably my favorite season because of Cassidee and Terry. get ready for the Blinds everybody 3 days.

Back on the horse

Well i just got done working out for an hour. I feel pretty good i have to watch what i eat. So far i am doing a good job. Working and posting a new blog. Yay!!!

I have been off for so long that i forgot how to blog. I hope that now I will keep it up and not stop. I have so many things to blog about Ii just don't sit down and take the time to type one out. So here is kinda what has been going on with me. I have started to make my letters and different things to take to craft fairs this fall. I have been trying to stay in shape and working out on a regular bases I have been trying to live a more healthy life style. It is not going as well as I would like I need to get in the mind set again.

I hope everyone has a blessed and safe year.  I have a lot of resolutions that I hope Ii can keep. The two big ones are to 1. Loose Weight (which I think everyone has.) 2. To be more happy and not let things get to me so easy. I hope all of you set some resolutions you can keep.

I am so sorry it has been awhile since I have wrote a blog. I have been so busy and planned to blog about my vacation while I was gone but things just didn't work out that way. I hope to start writting soon.

Revenge

Tonight is a new episode of the show Revenge. I can't wait, this show has got me hooked. I think everyone should see at least one episode of Revenge. I am so glad how this season is shaping up so far, but I know with a show like this it will have some twists and turns. I think the reason I like it so much cause it keeps you guessing and just when you think you know what is going to happen they twist it and take it in a different direction. Ok I will stop talking about how great it is. But you should look it up on Sundays on ABC you wont regret it.

What a crazy night

What is going on? I was so excited for the new season of the Vampire Diaries and the Season premiere of Beauty and the Beast. So seven o'clock comes and I tune in to watch, and what do I find. A local high school football game is on. I was not happy. So I had to wait to watch them and then I couldn't really watch all of it. I NEED DVR!!!. Then to top it all off Grey's Anatomy has only been back on for two weeks and they weren't on tonight because of the debate. I can not wait until this election is over. At least the night started out good because I got to watch the Big Bang and it was so funny. I love love love TV. I will be posting my movie of the month soon so be watching for it.

A Little of Everything

I am sure that you all know now why I called me blog Chaotic Thoughts with Krista. I have talked about a little of everything so far, but that is just the way my brain runs all the time. I have been working on making my stones and I am backed up on orders so my brain has been going crazy with that and then getting ready to go watch my cousin graduate from basic and going up to Tennessee to spend some time with my cousin Jordan of (My Chaotic Notebook). I know what your thinking and yes we both have chaotic thoughts most of the time. I can't wait to go on vacation its much needed break. Cause when I get back home I will be so busy until Christmas. Cooking, making presents, filling orders and trying to get everything ready for the holidays. There is  only 3 months left in 2012 I can't believe it, and what a busy rest of the year it will be.

The Power of Prayer

I know that religious views are always controversial, but I don't want to talk about religion. I want to talk about my experiences, and how prayer has worked for me.

I personally seen how prayer works first hand. When I was 8 years old I was diagnosed with a brain tumor and I had people praying for me and even people I didn't know.  With the power of prayer the doctor was able to get all of it and 16 years later here I am tumor free. I know God was with me I remember seeing him and his angels.


When my cousin was 9 months old she was diagnosed with a rare cancer Neuroblastoma. The doctors weren't sure how long she had to live, but they did know that most kids that get this kind of cancer diagnosed at a young age like her survive very many years after they find it. My family started praying right away and got her on prey chains at many churches. I am happy to say that she is now going to be 10 years old in March and is in remission.

God has performed miracles in my life and my families life. I thank him for giving me the opportunity to grow up. I still am trying to figure out what it is I am supposed to do with my life , but I know he has a plan for me.

Cool Mint Brownies

So my cousin made some cool mint brownies and they were so good I thought I would share them with you They look a little funky but they taste AMAZING. 

You will need

Brownie Mix
Cool Mint Oreos
White Frosting

Make brownies as instructed on the box and add one row of Oreos cream. Put the two ends in a bag and save. In a separate bowl put frosting and a row of Oreo cream. Crush cookies in bag pour half in bowl with frosting. Put bowl in microwave for 20 seconds, Mix and let sit until brownies are cool. Frost the brownies and top with remaining cookies in bag.

Weather In Iowa

This weather this past spring , summer, and this fall has been unheard of. Iowa springs are supposed to be thawing out from the winter blooming flowers rain and mild temperatures. Not this year we went from winter to summer not really any spring. Then SUMMER came. Wow what a scorcher some days it was so hot that you didn't want to walk out the door with temperatures reaching 100 degrees and the humidity making it feel like it was 110 degrees with no rain in sight. Now here we are in fall and we still have some summer like days and very little rain. I miss the mornings when you wake up and you can smell how clean and crisp the air is. I am still waiting for that day to come cause that's when it really feels like fall to me. The leaves are starting to change and fall people are starting to burn and it smells so good. I just hope that this unseasonably warm weather falls over into winter. I will say that only one day a year I wish for snow is Christmas Eve just enough to cover the ground and last until Christmas day. I love living in Iowa the change of the seasons are amazing.

Cooking with Potato's

I have been experimenting with different ways to make potato's. I have found that if you are going to cut and bake them you need to soak them in salt and sugar water. It draws out the water in the potato so they will cook faster. That is the only way I will make potato's now, because something that would take over an hour to bake only takes half the time. I have also created a recipe that I will share with you.

Sweet Mexican Potato's

Cute 4 medium potato's into wedges
2 1/2 T. Oil
1 tsp. Lawry's seasoning salt
1 Tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/8 powdered chicken Boolean
1 T. taco seasoning
1 1/2 tsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp white sugar

Take and soak potato's in salt and sugar water for 15 min. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a separate bowl mix oil, Lawry's, garlic powder, onion powder, chicken Boolean, taco seasoning, and brown sugar. toss potato's in the oil until potato's are covered. Place in a greased baking dish. Bake in oven on 425 degrees for 30 to 40 Min's or until potato's are done.

I like to serve these with chicken.

The Voice - Team Blake

What team are you?
I am Team Blake and Team Adam. I know you can't have two teams but I say screw it. So this weeks blind auditions were amazing. The singers this year are so much better then the last two seasons. This is going to be a tough year to pick who will win because there are so many that could do it.

  Terisa Griffin- I loved they way she asked Blake and Christina questions about what they would do for her. When she finally picked Blake I was shocked and so was he I am sure that he thought she was going to pick Christina. I think she is a really good singer and I just hope that her personality doesn't  get to be too much.


  Charlie Rey - He was such a breathe of fresh air. He has it all he is good looking and he can sing. He has a sexy swagger to his voice. He is going to be one of the front runners on Team Blake. I can't wait to see him sing more.

  Cassadee Pope - I am torn on do I vote for her or not. She has a good voice but I just don't know if I could cheer for a person that has already went on tour. I know that is what The Voice is all about. If she was the one that ended up representing Team Blake I would be fine with that.
